We represented four separate developers of a mixed use waterfront development in Jersey City over the course of approximately fifteen years. The property initially was a large waterfront warehouse. Thereafter, we represented three separate developers as the property progressed through various stages of development. Today, the property consists of approximately several million square feet of office and retail space, a full service luxury hotel and residential apartments.
Our development work with respect to the property included obtaining municipal land site plan and subdivision approvals and a Waterfront Development Permit from NJDEP. We also represented one of the developers in obtaining a phased, long term tax abatement for the development.
